Sundargarh, Odisha – Shri Jual Oram, Hon’ble Minister of Tribal Affairs, participated in and addressed the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gramya Utkarsh Abhiyan program held at the Sanskriti Bhawan in Sundargarh. The event, organized to promote the welfare and development of tribal communities, provided a platform to discuss transformative initiatives aimed at uplifting rural tribal populations.
During his address, Shri Oram elaborated on the objectives and impact of the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM JANMAN) scheme, informing the gathered audience about its key provisions. The PM JANMAN initiative is designed to address the socio-economic challenges faced by Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) by ensuring access to essential services such as education, healthcare, housing, and livelihood opportunities. Shri Oram highlighted the scheme’s role in fostering inclusive growth and empowering tribal communities to achieve self-reliance while preserving their rich cultural heritage.
